Which credit cards will I be able to accept?
We will set you up to accept MasterCard, Visa and bank ATM debit cards. You can apply for American Express and Discover at the same time, at no additional fee.
Are rates the same for all transactions?
Face-to-face transactions where the credit card is swiped are considered less risky by banks than Internet, telephone or mail transactions. Since this is the case, rates are quite a bit lower on face-to-face transactions.
How long does it take to get set up with credit card processing?
Merchant Made Easy will process your application very quickly. Once you submit your application, it can take as little as 24 hours to get you up and running.
How do I collect the funds that are processed through my merchant account?
The funds you collect from credit card transactions are deposited directly into the bank account of your choice.
When are funds usually placed into my business checking account?
The typical time period is 24 – 48 hours after the transaction.

What do I need to apply?
You will need the following information about your business:
Business information: (Tax I.D., physical mailing address)
Owner/principal information (contact and identifying information)
Account information (bank account, funding information)
Estimated credit card sales and existing credit card processing information, if applicable.
What type of businesses do you accept?
We accept retail, professionals, trade shows (wireless terminals), mail order, telephone order, Internet-based, and home-based businesses
What if I have questionable credit?
Credit is not always the determining factor in our approval process. If your credit is questionable, we have some options available to you so your account can be approved.
Can my application be denied?
Very few applications are denied. In the unlikely event that this occurs, Merchant Made Easy will make every effort to find a way for you to be approved. Since there is no application fee, the process would be of no expense to you.

What are your “hidden fees"?
Merchant Made Easy has absolutely NO hidden fees. Everything will be explained and all fees will be disclosed verbally and in writing. You can expect the following:
A statement fee.
Usage fees, otherwise known as “discount rates.” The discount rate is simply a percentage charged on each transaction.
Transaction/Authorization fees. This is the fee charged by the processor to process each transaction. This fee is charged on every transaction, regardless of whether or not the transaction is approved or declined. It is charged on Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover cards.
Equipment charges
You will not be charged any set-up fees, application fees, training fees, monthly minimum fees or shipping costs.
How do I track the activity on my account?
Merchant Made Easy mails you a statement at the end of each month that contains all the information you need regarding deposits to your account, your total sales volume and the charges for that month. There is a statement fee of $7.00 per month. We also offer detailed online accounting, so you can stay on top of your merchant account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Will I need to purchase any additional equipment or a terminal?
It depends. If you don’t already have equipment, our sales staff will help you guide you to the right terminal for your business.
Will I be trained on using the equipment and software I use to process credit and debit card transactions?
We provide full technical support and will see that you are fully confident when you begin to process credit or debit payments. Our customer service representatives and tech support are available 24 hours a day; 365 days a year.
I have a merchant service account through another bank. Should I cancel my account before I apply to Merchant Made Easy?
DO NOT CANCEL your existing merchant service until you have been approved and are ready to process with Merchant Made Easy. At that point, you can cancel your existing service.
